Indian Air force has bombed Jaish-e-Mohammed camps in Balakot, Chakoti. In the wee hours (3:30 AM) on February 25, 10 Mirage 2000 jets crossed the Line of Control (LoC) from Muzafarabad sector in PoK and carried out the attacks with laser-guided bombs.

This is for the first time in the history of Independent India that Indian Air Force has crossed the LOC.

The retaliatory action came amid growing outcry across the length and breadth of India to avenge the Pulwama terror attack on February 14, 2019.
