Just a couple days ago, the US, the UK and France had moved the UN Security Council a proposal to blacklist him as a global terrorist. Now it is being reported that there are discussions in the UNSC to ban Masood Azhar’s brother.
Earlier on Friday, Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi admitted that Masood Azhar was, in fact, in Pakistani, but was very unwell and unable to leave his house. Reportedly, he was being treated in a military hospital.
It is being speculated that Masood Azhar may have been severely injured in the airstrike, Indian Air Force carried out on terror camps in Balakot, deep inside Paksitan.
