Paksitan’s F16 fighter jets line up border with India

Paksitan has reportedly put its armed forces on high alert. It has also deployed F16 fighter jets as well as troops in the border areas with India.

Quoting a top defence official, The Hindustan Times has reported that F-16s are on high alert ‘all along India-Pak border — from Hyderabad in Sindh to Skardu in Northern Areas’.

There has been a spike in ceasefire violations from the Pakistan side, after the February 26 airstrike by Indian Air Force on Balakot terror camps.  Pakistani forces had initially intensified cross border shelling with heavy mortars and artillery targeting, Sunderbani, Naushera, Poonch, Bhimber Gali and Krishnaghati sectors, the report said.
